YAMAKEI SEICHA Co., Ltd.: Producer of the highest quality green tea in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka

Our business

Traditional skills passed down for generations Passion and commitment for the quality

YAMAKEI SEICHA is a tea company.

Our job is to source the new buds from tea growers, turn them into the dried tea, then go through heating, selection, and blending process to create each tea.

We only source our buds from handful of growers that we trust and have great relationship.

At the dried tea factory where the foundation of our unique flavor is created, we are adopting the latest technology while treasuring the craftsmanship of our experienced tea masters. This is how we preserve our traditional taste.

Our tea is not complete until we give a finishing touch to the dried tea.

The most important process during the last step are blending and heating. Heating increases the shelf life of tea and enhances the aroma. This process is the key to bring the best out of YAMAKEI SEICHA.

Just like blending, our tea masters keep close eyes on the condition of tea leaves and temperature of the day, and make small adjustments to the flame temperature. This is truly the work of art that can only be performed by a master craftsman.

YAMAKEI SEICHA takes pride in blending and heating skills that are crucial to craft delicious tea.
